Spoolcastle Strikes Gold...Again!

Spoolcastle's apparently unstoppable Credits That Count radio ad has won yet another gold prize, this time at the Tennessee College Public Relations Association awards.

Unlike the NCMPR Paragon awards, competition was not limited to community colleges, meaning Spoolcastle outshined the likes of UT-Knoxville, Vanderbilt, and Memphis, to name a few.

Spoolcastle Strikes Gold!

The first radio commercial Spoolcastle ever made is now a national award winner.

The prestigious NCMPR Paragon Awards Ceremony was held recently in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Spoolcastle's Credits That Count ad for Volunteer State Community College won gold in the category of Radio Advertisement/PSA, Single.

Spoolcastle would also like to congratulate the silver and bronze winners -- Houston Community College (Texas) and Cuyahoga Community College (Ohio) -- for their outstanding work.

Spoolcastle Teams Up With Vol State

The debut of the Vol State Difference campaign has finally arrived.

Interested parties can read about it in the Gallatin Community College's Summer '09 Newsletter.

Additionally, the radio spots are now available on the world wide web for your listening enjoyment.

Spoolcastle Joins Forces With Rexall

Spoolcastle recently wrapped two new TV commercials for Smyrna Rexall Drugs, a homegrown pharmacy with roots that date back to the year 1895.

"The Rexall team was very easy to work with," says Tyler Rooks.  "They trusted us to do what we do, which resulted in an extremely smooth production process."

The Spoolcastle crew started shooting the Rexall commercials on a Thursday evening and printed the final cuts on the following Tuesday.

On Effectiveness

In regard to their television commercial work, Spoolcastle was recently posed the question:  "Is it effective?"

"That really got us thinking," says Emily Mitchell.  "We believe that this is a very important question for us and our clients to be asking.  It forces us to think about some fundamental advertising issues."

Yes, there are cheaper avenues for commercial production, and, despite the obvious difference in quality of content, the cheaper ads may serve the same purpose on a fundamental awareness-generation level as a Spoolcastle ad.

So the question then becomes:  how do you want to be represented?  Would you rather be seen arriving at work in an '82 Pinto or a brand new Porsche (for the price of a Honda)?

Would the President of the United States address the public in a suit and tie recently purchased at a flea market?  If he did, would that help or hurt his effectivenss as the leader of America?

Do clothes make a president good or bad?  No, of course not.  But, does the President's image have an effect on his leadership?  Since the President's effectiveness as a leader determines many outcomes in the lives of Americans and people around the world, this is an important question.

And the same question should be posed by businesses as well.  Is our public image important to our success?

The quality of your television commercials is a direct and strong influence on the general public's perception of your business.  You've surely seen more than one local commercial that made you cringe.

By the same token, if you saw a noticeable upgrade in TV ads for a business that previously aired cringe-inducing spots, you may logically deduce that their services and/or products had improved, and it would certainly be a good start in altering your perception.

So the answer is yes.  Better commercials are effective.  They have a much better chance of winning new customers, they serve as validation for existing clients, and they can do wonders in repairing a once-unsavory public image.

And, at Spoolcastle, the production value may be big, but the cost isn't.  When you hire Spoolcastle to produce your television commercials (or any of your advertising needs, for that matter), you're going to get a whole lot more than you pay for.

Does Your Business Have A Website?

If not, you're fresh out of excuses.

For prices a lot lower than you might think, Spoolcastle can build you a strong web presence.

In this day and age, a business without a website is a business that lacks some degree of credibility, justifiably or not.

Let's say someone does a google search for massage therapists in a given town and gets a handful of results, A through J, and only one of those has a site.  Guess which one is getting the business.

Spoolcastle can help put you on the map.

If you don't have a website, you need one, and Spoolcastle can help.  Call (931.639.4649) or email (tim@spoolcastle.com) to find out more.

Spoolcastle Productions Officially Explodes

What started as a one-man operation is now a five-person show with immediate plans for continued expansion.

At its inception, Spoolcastle offered low-budget television commercials based on national-scale concepts.  That still holds true, but recently, sudden expansion has led to Spoolcastle more than quadrupling its menu of services.

Do you need a new logo?  Fresh copy for your website?  Someone to oversee the implementation of a viral marketing campaign?  If you answered "yes" to any of these or a hundred other similar questions, then your search is over.

Spoolcastle is now built around four distinct divisions - all self-contained yet all overlapping.  Advertising, Video Production, Website Design, and Entertainment

Spoolcastle's structure allows them to give you a better product at a better price.  No fragmented groups and huge overhead to worry about.  The folks at Spoolcastle work together interdivisionally through every phase of production.

And no project is too big or too small.  The versatile Spoolcastle team will just as enthusiastically tackle a single-page website overhaul as they will a national ad campaign.

No matter your needs, Spoolcastle will meet them.
